The Angelettes - a female band from Manchester, England. Formed officially in 1972 after signing to Decca Records and renowned for their fabulous harmonies, they grace the credits of some iconic British music.

The Angelettes' rich harmonies can be heard on their singles recorded for the Decca, UK Records and Mooncrest labels, with their distinctive vocals also in demand for prestigious backing sessions at the major UK studios. Have a listen to Bryan Ferry's album "These Foolish Things" and single "A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall" for some early Angelettes vocal arrangements.

From the early days, The Angelettes performed a range of musical styles, encompassing acoustic, folk, country, soul, jazz, Motown, cabaret and chart-topping pop songs. However The Angelettes were not just singers, but accomplished instrumentalists with an impressive list of instruments between them, including acoustic and electric guitars, bass guitar, banjo, flute, clarinet, mandolin, and keyboards.

TV appearances, radio power plays and a wealth of musical talent has ensured that their signature sound stands the test of time. With two songs included in a movie soundtrack together with a previously unreleased single, their fans - old and new - are delighted.
